(-4-2)/(6-(-6))=-6/12=-1/2
y=-1/2x+b
subsitute one point
(6,-4)
x=6
y=-4
-4=1/2(6)+b
-4=3+b
subtract 3
-7=b
y=-1/2x-7 is answer
