Alexander would have supplied his troops during his 11-year campaign by giving them a break. . Alexander wielded a huge treasure which he would distribute among his army and feed the people to keep them supplied for the campaign. Alexander was more concerned about expanding his empire than governing it to focus on how well his people were doing than gaining more land
