Social change is a change or alteration to the social order within a society. This can include changes within nature, behavior, relationships and institutions. 

Which changes faster, material or non-material culture? Material culture which are physical things changes faster than nonmaterial culture which are made up of ideas and attitudes. It is said that it is easier to change how something looks than how something thinks.
