The new  pressure   is calculated using Boyles   law   formula

tha is P1V1=P2V2

P1= 3atm
V1=5 L
V2= 7500 =7500/1000= 7.5 L
p2=?

by making P2 the subject  of the formula =P1V1/V2

P2= 3 atm  x5 L/ 7.5 L = 2 atm  is the new pressure
