How many solutions can be found for the linear equation? 6(3x + 2) 6 - 7 = 6x - 12x/4 - 5?

It's not necessary to do the algebra to answer this question. If the given equation is linear, and there is no division by zero, then there is ONE solution.

Likewise, a quadratic equation has TWO solutions; a cubic equation THREE, and so on.
