Water moves through cell membrane via osmosis, diffusion (from high concentration to low concentration), or via special protein channels called aquaporins.

Fructose as a sugar molecule (glucose also) goes through the membrane via protein channels such as GLUT1.

Oxygen and carbon dioxide move across cell membranes via simple diffusion, a process that requires no energy input. The movement occurs down the gradient, from the higher to lower concentration.
