BY USING MIDDLE TERM SPLITTING,

2x^2-(4x+x)+2=0

(2x^2-4x)-(x-2)=0

2x(x-2)-1(x-2)=0

(2x-1)(x-2)=0

Two solutions are 2, 1/2
