Here is your answer

Given,

length, l= 2x+8

width, b=6

So

area= l×b

=(2x+8)×6

= 12x+48

So,

12x+48= 108 [Given area= 108 unit^2]

12x= 108-48

12x= 60

x= 60/12

x= 5
