There is still not definitive evidence that let paleontologists conclude whether dinosaurs were endotherms, in other words, warm-blooded animals able to heat themselves without the sunlight. Actually, evidence suggest that dinosaurs' fast pace to growth did not allowed them to be neither ectotherms nor endotherms. The most accepted theory is that dinosaurs occupied a middle ground called "mesotherms".
