the component form of the vector is this case will simply be the rectangular equivalent of those coordinates

[tex]\bf v = (\stackrel{r}{6}~~,~~\stackrel{\theta }{235^o})~~ \begin{cases} x= &r\cdot cos(\theta )\\ &6\cdot cos(235^o)\\ &\approx -3.44\\ y= &r\cdot sin(\theta )\\ &6\cdot sin(235^o)\\ &\approx -4.91 \end{cases}\implies (\stackrel{x}{-3.44}~~,~~\stackrel{y}{-4.91})[/tex]
