Alcohol strength refers to B. concentration of alcohol in a beverage. There are some drinks that don't have a large concentration of alcohol in them, such as beer for example, and then there are those whose concentrations of alcohol are quite high, such as vodka, or absinthe, for example. Although you may not get drunk from a couple of beers, you may get really intoxicated from only a couple of gulps of a really strong alcohol.
