Daisy approached wealth as though it was a necessity. This can be seen as she married Tom Buchanan after many other suitors. This was strictly for his wealth. She also started taking serious interest in Gatsby when she realized he was incredibly wealthy. One can also say that she had a romantic approach towards wealth
