Papa finds her with Daniel and David and gets mad at her for letting American boys treat her like a "toy". Mama breaks her leg so Maya has to do all of the work for her, which exhausts her and forces her to skip her gymnastic meets. Nurzhan gets in a fight, so papa and mama get mad at Maya for letting this happen.
