easy, if the intercepts or roots or zeros of the equation are r₁ and r₂ then 2 factors of the equatoin are (x-r₁) and (x-r₂)

so

we see it intercepts the x axis at 1 and 6
r₁=1
r₂=6

therefor 2 roots are (x-1) and (x-6)
