Jim picks 16 quarts of berries. He needs 2 1/4 quarts to make a batch of jam. If he saves 2 1/2 quarts of berries to eat how many batches of jam can Jim make?

16 - 2.5 = 13.5
13.50/2.25 = 6

He can make 6 batches of jam!
