How is kinetic energy used in dribbling a basketball

By you dribbling you’re adding a force onto the ball so you convert Potential energy into Kinetic energy. This force you applied causes the ball to collide with the basketball court.

As you dribble the ball, the energy from your hand gets transfered to the ball, creating kinetic energy
