Treaty of Troyes, concluded May 21, disinherits the Dauphin Charles, and establishes that Henry V, King of England, will inherit the French throne at the death of King Charles VI. On June 2, as called for in the treaty, Henry V marries Charles VI’s daughter Catherine at the Church of St. John in Troyes.
