X^2+8=3x Very simple but yet I have a question. Can I subtract 3 from 3x and do the same to 8?

Answer:

No, you cannot subtract 3 from 3x, simply because 3 is not the same as 3x.

answer- no. there is a variable with 3x and not 3. therefor you cannot take 3 away from 3x since they have different values.
