integers are every number that is negative, positive, or zero

integers DO NOT include anything more, so no decimals

examples would be

how many grains of sand on the beach?
how many jelly beans in the jar? (assuming none of them are cut in half)
how many times did you call someone? (cant do it half a time)
how many people were born today? (don't get into people not counting as 1)
how many people answered this question on brainly?
