I will tackle this problem by dividing the figure into 4 visible rectangles and 1 L shaped figure which i will add together to get the total area.

Rectangle (1)= h×w =4×5=20 cm²

Rectangle (2)= h×l =4×5=20 cm²

Rectangle (3)= h×l =4×5=20 cm²

Rectangle (4)= h×w =4×5=20 cm²

L-shaped polygon which i will divide into 2 parts

Part 1's area: l×w= 5×5=25 cm²

Part 2's area: l×w= 10×5=50 cm²

Total area=(20+20+20+20+25+50)

Total area=155 cm²
