If [tex]m=-4[/tex]

and a point is [tex](2,3)[/tex]

[tex]y=mx+b[/tex]

[tex]3=(-4)(2)+b[/tex] using the point and the slope

[tex]3=-8+b[/tex]

[tex]b=8+3[/tex]

[tex]b=11[/tex]

Therefore, the equation of the line will be [tex]y=-4x+11[/tex]
