For instance the president can veto legislation and legislation can impeach the president
The president can nominate judges and supreme justices (executive branch )can declare presidential acts were unconstitutional .
The executive branch can check the legislation branch by declaring laws unconstitutional.
The legislation can check the executive branch by impeaching the judge!
This way no one side can have more power than the other sides creating a system of checks and balances
