The force required is 20N.

Force is expressed by the F = ma expression. Where F represents the force, m is the mass of the object and a is the accelaration.

With that being said it is possible to change the values and, thus:

[tex]F = ma\\F = 10kg . 2m/s^2\\F= 20N[/tex]

Therefore, the force required is 20N.
