The value of x is 10/3

Given,

(3/10)x - 1/5 =1

We need to find the value of x.

Find the value of x

(3/10)x - 1/5 =1

Add 1/5 on both sides

(3/10)x - 1/5 +1/5 = 1 + 1/5

Find the LCM of 1 + 1/5 on the right side.

Lcm of 1 and 1/5 is 5

(3/10)x = (5x1+1x1) /5

(3/10)x = (5+1) /5

(3/10)x = 6/5

(3/10)x = 6/5

Dividing 10/3 into both sides

(3/10)x x (10/3) = 6/5 x (10/3)

x = (6x10)/5x3

x = 60/15

x = 4

Thus the value of x is 10/3
