Enzyme inhibitors are molecules that interact with each other in a specific way to stop or prevent another enzyme to work in a normal manner. There are a range of inhibitors like  nonspecific, irreversible, reversible - competitive and noncompetitive. Drugs and poison are examples of enzyme inhibitors.
