You want to find the cost for one pound of pecans.
Divide 8.25 by 3.
8.25/3= 2.75
So it's $2.75 for one pound of pecans.
You want to find the amount for five pounds, so multiply 2.75 by 5
2.75 x 5= 13.75
It costs $13.75 for five pounds of pecans.
