Mean is basically the average of all the numbers. To find a mean one would have to add up all the numbers together then divide by the numbers available. For an example to find the mean for the following numbers (5,4,6,7) One would have to add up all the numbers then divide them by 4. So 22/4= 5.5 would be the mean.
