Hey there!

When finding the area of a circle, you'll use the following formula:

[tex]A = \pi r^{2} [/tex]

A = area
r = radius

All you need to do is plug in your given radius and solve for A.

[tex]A = \pi r^{2} [/tex]

[tex]A = (3.14) (8^{2}) [/tex]

[tex]A = (3.14) (64) [/tex]

[tex]A = 200.96 [/tex]

The area of your circle will be 200.96 ft.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

You''ll need to use the equation A(area)=3.14*r^2
a=3.14*8^2
a=3.14*64
a=200.96
