What is the volume of a 24 mm tall cylinder that has a diameter of 6mm?

Height (h) = 24 mm

Diameter = 6 mm

Radius (r) = [tex] \frac{6}{2} [/tex] = 3 mm

Area = [tex] \pi r^{2} h = \pi * (3)^{2}* 24 = \pi *9 * 24 = 216 \pi [/tex] = 216 * 3.14 = 678.24 mm²

volume = PI x r^2 x h

 using 3.14 for pi

3.14 x 3^2 x 24 = 678.24 cubic mm
