conquered people with many of its citizens exiled to faraway captivity; it talks about that in the book Jeremiah in the bible. the bible is historically accurate with this stuff. I'd recommend you get a John MacArthur  study bible, if not for faith then just for the historical part of it.

I mostly think that it is D. the last one that says Small independent communities living according to their religious traditions and laws, because this back when Judah fell and that it says "Social" characteristics.
