17. In an isosceles triangle, the base is 17 less than 3 times one of the legs. If the perimeter is 33 in, find the length of each leg and the length of the base. Show all work!

let x = one leg. the base is then 3x-17. the perimeter I'd given by x+x+3x-17=33

5x-17=33
5x=50
x=10
2 legs are 10 each and base is 13
