You can't really make a word problem for that; at least, that's what I think. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

Well, -70 doesnt equal 70. But you could do something like this: Mike swam 70 m below the surface of water. After his swim, he hiked up a mountain 70 m high. Sorry if this doesnt work.. hope it helps though!
