The answer is: are very stable over time
Temperament and emotion tend to become unstable if facing a situation that we don't expect to happen (such as sudden death of loved ones or getting fired from jobs)
But, if we have time to adapt to the new situation, both temperament and emotion in most people would re-stablize.
