There are two balance beams at the gym.

One of the beam is 15 feet long.

Let us first convert feet into inches.

The conversion rate is :

1 feet =12 inches

Now let us convert 15 feet into inches now.

By applying unitary method,

1 feet has 12 inches.

15 feet = 12*15 = 180 inches.

The second beam is 162 inches.

So comparing 180 and 162 .

180>162

So the first beam is longer than second beam.
