Gross earnings are the same as gross profit.
Gross earnings are income before taxes or adjustments. It is calculated as the individual's wages or salary, investment and asset appreciation, and the amount made from any other source of income. Similarly, Gross profit is the profit a company makes after deducting the costs associated with making and selling its products, or the costs associated with providing its services.
gross profit = regular earnings + overtime earnings.
